Unfortunately, we weren't able to find any reliable IT process automation platforms that offer any kind of ongoing free plan. However, Nintex still made our list due to the available 30-day free trial of the Nintex Workflow Cloud and many of its other services. No matter what you need, you can quickly fill out a form and request a free trial of any platforms you're interested in. That made Nintex an obvious choice as the IT process automation software in 2022 with the best free trial.

The Nintex Workflow Cloud release notes page was an extremely promising resource, with details of recent updates going from 2021 back to 2016. The application received at least one update every single month of 2021, with multiple versions being released in February, July, August, September, and November. While some of the changes in these updates were relatively minor, others were more significant. For example, the December 2021 release gave users the ability to pause workflows for a specific period of time and assign a single task to as many as 20 different team members.

Pricing for the Nintex Workflow software starts at $910 per month for an unlimited number of users and a limit of 10 total workflows. The Enterprise plan is available from $1,400 per month for 10 workflows/botflows. Naturally, both options come with significant discounts as you add more volume to your account. Enterprise users also gain access to many additional features including analytics, a terminal emulator, and a Nintex gateway.

When we visited the Kissflow website, we were disappointed to find that the changelog hasn't been updated for at least four months.
